How we choose a treatment: assessment first, always. Your plan may combine two or three of these — for example manual therapy plus exercise therapy plus posture coaching — rather than relying on one modality alone.
Hands-on & manual care
Skilled, hands-on techniques that calm irritable joints and tissue and speed up early relief.
Manual Therapy
Hands-on care that calms irritable joints and soft tissue.
Dry Needling
Targeted needling for myofascial trigger points — when clinically appropriate.
Soft Tissue Mobilisation
Targeted soft-tissue techniques for muscle and fascia irritability.
Exercise & movement
The core, evidence-based engine of recovery — building strength, control and lasting change.Electrotherapy & modalities
Supportive modalities used selectively alongside hands-on care and exercise, not instead of them.
Electrotherapy (TENS / IFT)
Selective electrical modalities to support pain relief when assessment says they help.
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Clinic modality used selectively for soft-tissue irritability.
Cold & Heat Therapy
Simple thermal strategies used wisely — ice for flares, heat for stiffness.
Support & specialised care
Taping, pelvic floor and other targeted techniques for specific situations. Why the mix matters more than any single modality
No physiotherapy treatment works in isolation. Electrotherapy or dry needling might calm an irritable structure in the first session or two, but the change that actually lasts comes from exercise therapy, manual therapy and posture correction layered in as pain settles. That's why every Quick Physio plan names the combination we're using and why — not just a single technique — and revisits it as you progress.
